Damien Hirst Studio & Workshop at Ilfracombe & Mullacott North Devon
Damine Hirst made Devon his home near to Combe Martin in Devon with his studio next to his house. He also has a major workshop near to Ilfracombe at Mullacott Cross where many local artists work. At Ilfracombe Damien Hirst has his cafe at No 11 The Quay and just a few doors up he has applied for planning permission for another restaurant

The 2011 short listed Turner Prize artist, George Shaw , also has a studio and now lives in Ilfracombe also.
Hirst lives with his Californian girlfriend, Maia Norman, by whom he has three sons: Connor Ojala, (born 1995, Kensington and Chelsea, London), Cassius Atticus (born 2000, North Devon) and Cyrus Joe (born 2005, Westminster, London). Since the birth of Connor, he has spent most of his time at his remote farmhouse, a 300 year old former inn, near Combe Martin, Devon. Hirst and Norman are not married, although Hirst refers to Norman as his "common-law wife". The artist owns a large compound in Baja, Mexico which serves as a part-time residence and art studio. The studio employs several artists that carry out Hirst's projects.
